Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Singer and television personality Wayne Brady is set to host the returning game show classic, “Let’s Make a Deal.” As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the show is set to return to daytime TV in October, and will air on CBS, replacing decades old soap opera “Guiding Light.”
As noted by the AP, the original show’s longtime host Monty Hall is set to be a consultant on the updated version. Nina Tassler, chief of programming for CBS is quoted as stating to the Television Critics Association that bringing the new program will be a “very tough transition,” however, “Let’s Make a Deal” was chosen over other game show options.
Wayne Brady is known for starring on television shows such as “Who’s Line is it Anyway” and currently appears on “Don’t Forget the Lyrics.”
