As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Obama is set to discuss the plan at a townhall meeting in New Hampshire using a revised pitch, following the release of poll numbers that suggest a significant number of Americans are skeptical of the plan.
Obama will reportedly spend time educating Americans on the benefits of an overhaul of the health care system during the month. The president is quoted by the AP as stating of discussion about the proposed bill, “We are having a vigorous debate in the United States, and I think that’s a healthy thing” but the atmosphere is expected to change when lawmakers in Congress return from recess.
