The board is set to vote on a contract pertaining to the building of State Highway 161.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) Board of Directors is set to vote on what may be the largest contract awarded by the agency in its history. As reported by the Dallas Business Journal, the board is considering whether to approve a contract for $414.1 million for the next phase of constructing State Highway 161.
Susan Slupecki, the NTTA’s Assistant Public Information Officer, is quoted in the report as stating of the project, “The size and scope, as well as the design-build delivery method, are both milestone elements in conjunction with this project of Phase Four of State Highway 161.”
The contract will reportedly be voted on August 22 during an agency meeting.
