A man is arrested after allegedly throwing jellyfish at teenagers.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – A man was arrested early this week after he allegedly threw jellyfish at a group of teenagers while at Madeira Beach. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), witnesses stated Keith Edward Marriott, 41, began flinging the jellyfish at the teens after repeatedly pretending he was drowning.
As noted in the report, Marriot was subsequently taken into police custody and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, for a pocketknife he had on him, in addition to disorderly intoxication for his actions. He is quoted by the AP as being described in a report by the sheriff’s office as having caused “concern for his safety” and also being “loud and disruptive.”
Marriot was reportedly being held on a bond of $250 following his arrest.
