Hills star Audrina Patridge has been granted a restraining order against an obsessive fan.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Audrina Patridge, one of the stars of the reality series, “The Hills,” has obtained a restraining order against an obsessive fan. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Patridge, who also appears in the new film, “Sorority Row,” was granted the order of protection this week against 24 year-old Zachary Loring, who was arrested outside her home.
As noted by the AP, Loring gave the actress letters and other items during his first visit to her home in August. Among the items was reportedly a drawing of a woman being strangled. Loring has been barred from trying to contact Patridge or her younger brother Mark, and has to remain at least 100 yards from both of them.
An attorney for Patridge is quoted in the report as writing in the petition for the order, “Ms. Patridge is in great fear of returning to her home and is currently staying outside of Los Angeles County due to her fear for her personal and physical safety.”
