Senate negotiators on health care reform have reportedly come closer to reaching a bipartisan deal.

As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the negotiators stated Monday that differences across party lines have narrowed in regards to critical issues being debated about a plan to ensure that all Americans have access to affordable health care.
Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla, is quoted by the AP as stating of the matter, “I am very optimistic that we are going to be able to pass a bill that will get us to 60 votes… I didn’t feel it a week-and-a-half ago, but I’m very optimistic now.”
As noted in the report, several meetings have been scheduled for lawmakers this week to discuss key aspects of the legislation.
