Concerns about health and safety are addressed days before the fair is set to open.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – As opening day for the State Fair of Texas approaches, officials are addressing concerns over the health and safety of visitors and the new DART Green Line. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, in a media briefing Tuesday, officials advised those expected to attend the fair on precautions to take when riding the attractions as well as being cautious in preventing the spread of illness amid a flu season and a widespread outbreak of the H1N1 virus.

DART executive director Gary Thomas is quoted in the report as stating, “Next year is now… The State Fair is always about big rides, and this year DART is pleased to be part of those big rides.”
