The chain is providing free accommodations at 86 hotel locations.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Thousands of people will have the opportunity to enjoy a free night’s stay at Sheraton hotels across the country in October. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the owner of the hotel chain is offering free overnight stays at 86 locations on Oct. 23 to over 2,000 guests who book rooms between Oct. 6 and Oct. 9.
Hoyt Harper, with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc., the parent company of Sheraton, is quoted by the AP as stating of the promotion, which will help showcase the new renovations for the chain, “In North America, we’ve had a pretty mixed history. We’ve have some great hotels and we’ve have some hotels that were substandard…This is a new beginning for the brand”
Morningstar analyst Michelle Chang is further quoted in the report as stating of the importance of continual updates of hotels for prolonged success, “If a hotel company doesn’t continually reinvest in their properties, it’s going to lose its luster, and it’s going to look run down… And so you have to keep reinvesting in the property to keep it fresh and keep it new and keep it updated.”
