The micro blogging service is seeking to translate its website into other languages.
San Francisco, California (WiredPRNews.com) – The popular social networking site Twitter may be able to increase its popularity even more with expanded international appeal. As reported by AFP, the micro blogging service is looking for translators to help develop the site to offer pages in French, German, Spanish and Italian to add to the current offerings in English and Japanese.
Biz Stone, Twitter co-founder, is quoted by AFP as stating in a recent blog post, “We will distribute the translations to Twitter platform developers making it easier for them to offer multiple language support as well… We’re very excited that more people will be able to use Twitter in their native language!”
As noted in the report, Twitter is said to currently have more than 50 million users.
