The Phanton of the Opera composer has reportedly been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
London (WiredPRNews.com) – English musical theater composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has reportedly been diagnosed with cancer. As reported by Us Magazine, a spokesperson for the legendary writer of “The Phanton of the Opera” has stated that he is undergoing treatment for prostate cancer.
The spokesperson is quoted by Us Magazine as stating of Lloyd Webber’s condition, “Andrew is now undergoing treatment and expects to be fully back at work before the end of the year.”
As noted in the report, Lloyd Webber has received numerous awards throughout his career including an Oscar and three Grammy Awards. The composer reportedly previously announced plans for a sequel to his legendary production of “The Phantom of the Opera,” titled “Love Never Dies,” which is expected to open next year.
