Police reportedly respond to numerous accidents in Dallas Thursday amid record snowfall levels.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – Dallas police reportedly responded to numerous accidents Thursday amid heavy snowfall throughout North Texas. As reported by The 33 News, drivers were cautioned to take precautions while on the roads; however the inclement weather was believed to be a factor in over 100 accidents from midnight to midday. The majority of the accidents were reportedly minor; however, several major accidents were reported as well.
Drivers are advised to avoid going out on the roads if possible while the inclement weather persists. Many schools in the area have been closed for Friday due to the weather conditions. Those who are unable to avoid driving have been advised by officials to avoid driving too closely behind other vehicles and maintain safe speeds.
