Dallas and surrounding areas are expected to see more snowfall Tuesday.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – More snow is expected for North Texas. As reported by NBC DFW News, Dallas and surrounding areas are expected to receive 2 to 4 inches of snow by Tuesday after it begins to fall late Monday night.
As noted in the report, the snowfall could break the area’s all time record for the most snow fall recorded in a winter season in history.
Texas Department of Transportation officials are reportedly gearing up to provide road safety assistance; however the number of storms is stated to already have had a significant impact on its budget. TxDOT spokeswoman Cynthia Northrop-White is quoted in the report as stating, “All the snowfall has had a big impact on us.” The agency has reportedly responded to twice the number of storms initially planned for.
