A 13 year-old girl rescued two children from drowning in a pool at camp.
Fort Worth (WiredPRNews.com) – A 13 year-old Girl Scout saved two children from drowning during a day camp outing. As reported by CBS 11 News, Kenna Dolan, who helped as a camp aide at the Blue Bonnet Trails Day Camp in Fort Worth, rescued the young girls after seeing them struggling in the water on the last day of camp.
As noted in the report the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma are set to throw the first game pitch at the Girl Scout Friends and Family Day, which will be held in Arlington at Rangers Ballpark.
Kenna’s father, Jeff Dolan, is quoted in the report as stating of the event, “In terms of the awards you can get, I don’t think it gets much better than this… My daughter is going to get to throw the first pitch out at a Major League Baseball game. It’s incredible.”
