Mike will assume global responsibility for all sales and sales related activities from President and co-founder, Ed Burke. Mike Knapp is an accomplished sales executive with proven success in the IT industry. He has held key sales and marketing leadership roles at Hitachi, HP, Compaq, Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), Toshiba, NYNEX and IBM in end user direct and channel selling models. At Hitachi, Mike built a channel from the ground up for their blade servers, management software, and related services in North America. While at HP, he led a team responsible for managing a select group of HP’s most strategic Enterprise Value Partners across the U.S. The foundation for Mike’s selling success was initially built at IBM, where he leveraged the industry’s best in class customer oriented sales training and field experience. As a proven sales leader, Mike promotes a high-energy, enthusiastic, and enjoyable work environment to ensure that he and his team always exceed customer expectations and deliver results. Prior to starting his IT career in the private sector, Mike proudly served six years of military service in the U.S. Air Force.
