Amazon is reportedly adding Twitter and Facebook to its popular e-reader device.
San Francisco (WiredPRNews.com) – Amazon.com Inc. is reportedly adding two social networking sites to its popular e-reader. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Facebook and Twitter access is set to be added to the Kindle e-reader.
As noted in the report, other enhancements will also be added with an update to the software of the devices. Amazon recently posted information about the update on its website stating users will be able to share passages from books on the two social media sites and will also have the ability to sort and group together books and other items on the device.
As further noted by the AP, some Kindle owners have already been granted access to the software and all users of the device are expected to have it later in the month.
