A man who sustained injuries after a “T” mobility bus accident states his claims have yet to be settled.
Fort Worth (WiredPRNews.com) – A man who was seriously injured in an accident involving a “T” mobility bus in Fort Worth recently spoke publicly about the aftermath of the crash. As reported by CBS 11 News, David Horn, who was in critical condition following the wreck last July, has stated that his claim’s against the T, the City of Fort Worth’s Transportation Authority, have yet to be settled, despite police reports showing the driver of the bus was at fault.
Dana Horn, wife of the crash victim, is quoted in the report as stating of the impact it has had on their family, “We have a grandson. We have one on the way. I mean, he’s missing all of this. This is not even a quality marriage for us anymore.”
As noted in the report, there is a $300,000 maximum liability cap on the T’s required payout in the accident, due to it being a government owned entity. The transportation authority has reportedly settled with others involved in the accident.
