Los Angeles – CNN television host Larry King is set to host a telethon for oil spill victims. As reported by Reuters, the two-hour program will air on “Larry King Live” on Monday at 8 p.m. EDT, and feature celebrity guests such as Cameron Diaz and Justin Bieber, as well as politicians and others. The telethon will reportedly raise money for nonprofit organizations that provide support to people and wildlife impacted by the massive spill in the Gulf of Mexico, including the United Way and the National Wildlife Federation.
As noted in the report, the airing of the telethon will involve the use of two screens, with the second being computer access to participation through social networks like Twitter and Facebook.
