Fort Worth, Texas – A woman and child, who along with another individual fell into the Trinity River, were saved by a Good Samaritan passing by the area. As reported by CBS 11 News, the man rescued the two after spotting them in the water while riding his bike, but was not able to save the third individual, who was pulled under by a current.
Jeff Harrison, who rescued the woman and child, is quoted in the report as stating of the incident, “You kind of see it and hear it and you’re like, ‘I don’t think they’re playing around… I just saw it, pulled over, threw my bike down, and went in.”
As noted in the report, the woman was taken to an area hospital; however the young girl was reportedly not in need of hospitalization after the incident.
