Utah – A pregnant Utah woman is due to give birth at two different times. As reported by CNN/KSL, Angie Cromar, who has the rare condition uterus didelphys or two uteruses, has conceived in both of them.
Cromar is quoted in the report as stating of the development of the babies, “I’m five weeks and four days in one, and six weeks and one day in the other.”
Her physician, Dr. Steve Terry, is further quoted as stating of the rare occurrence, “Angie and I both had the look of surprise… Probably less than 100, so far, worldwide, have been reported; so she’s a member of a small, elite club.”
Cromar further notes of the risk of certain complications with her condition, “Oh, I’m a little nervous, just because I know what can happen, but I’m really excited.”
