Seattle, WA – August 25, 2010 – (WiredPRNews.com) This August 26th, Dr. Melody Ivory launches her new webcast Celebrate Fearless Women’s Day to coincide with the national celebration of the event and to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the 19th amendment – giving women the right to vote. The event will be an all-day video broadcast of six poetry performances and three short talks by Dr. Melody Ivory. Videos will be released 1 every 3 hours beginning on August 26th at midnight PST and ending the 27th at midnight PST. The series is meant to be an invitation to step into our full greatness as women and be the living works of art we’re meant to be. The poems will feature never released footage from Dr. Ivory’s “Road M Traveled” book and one-woman show as well a series of poems Melody has written for her “40 Poems for 40 Years” book and show on November 20th. The highlight will be a not to be missed inspirational new work, Fearless.
“This webcast provides inspiration, motivation and a call to action,” says Dr. Ivory. “Our work is not done. This webcast is my contribution as a supporter of mid-career women who have a passion to follow their life’s calling.”
Dr. Ivory is re-writing what it means to be a woman of science and spirituality. Over the past 20 years, she has combined her work as a performance poet with her computer science Ph.D. and experience to be a passionate champion of women. Dr. Ivory is the author of six books, including the recent series—Composing Your Masterpiece Self™ Symphony. She has co-hosted a radio interview series titled, Step Into Your Full Greatness™, for the popular Dr. Pat a.m. radio show.
