Orlando, Florida – The Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association has partnered with three law firms to assist members with BP oil spill claims. As reported by the Associated Press (AP) the trade group announced the move last week, stating legal assistance would be made available for hoteliers and restaurateurs whose claims have been delayed or denied. The association will also reportedly host briefings regarding claims with lawyers.
As noted in the report, the head of the association asserts many businesses across multiple industries, in addition to those close to the oil spill, have been significantly impacted by it in part due to consumer perception.
