San Francisco – Twitter is introducing changes to the site that will make photo and video viewing access easier for users. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the site redesign was unveiled this week, and is expected to be introduced across the globe soon.
Twitter co-founder Biz Stone is quoted by the AP as stating of the social network, “We are still figuring out all the new possibilities.”
As noted in the report, the updates to the site may lead to more time spent on Twitter for users, making it more of a draw for advertisers.
Forrester Research analyst Augie Ray is further quoted in the report as stating of the need for the changes, “Improving consumption of Twitter-based content is important not just for Twitter, but for interactive marketers as well.”
