Atlanta – Rapper T.I. and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, held a luncheon on Sunday to raise money for their charity, “For The Love Of Our Fathers” which supports efforts in the battle against Alzheimer’s disease. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the Grammy winning entertainer, whose name is Clifford Harris Jr., recently discussed the charity and how his family has been personally affected by the neurological disorder.
T.I., whose father and grandmother reportedly suffered from Alzheimer’s at the time of their deaths, is quoted by the AP as stating, “it’s very, very personally close to our family… And while I was, you know, while I was going through my … period of hiatus, Tameka had the idea of … starting this foundation. And I thought it was an outstanding idea.”
Cottle’s father is currently battling the disease. The charity will reportedly support research efforts and provide possible caregiver relief.
