Maui, HI – (WiredPRNews.com) Multiple Grammy Award winning producer Narada Michael Walden is now producing crooner Brian Evans in a series of new recordings aimed at turning the singer into the next international star.
Narada Michael Walden, whose previous works have garnered him a series of Grammy Awards for his work on “The Bodyguard” soundtrack for Whitney Houston, is also known for his work with Elton John, Aretha Franklin, George Michael, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder among a sleugh of others superstars.
“It has taken many years to land on the radar of Mr. Walden,” says Evans. “It is an honor bestowed to very few, and I consider it a privilege to be working with him.”
Walden considers Evans to be what he calls “The next Neil Diamond.”
The recordings are a series of original songs and several covers, though Evans is mum on what those recordings are.
“I think people are going to be very surprised at what they are going to hear,” says Evans. “Narada is an absolute genius, as anyone who has worked with him will attest to.”
Evans has been the opening act for Lou Rawls, Dionne Warwick, Franki Valli, Social Distortion, Joan Rivers, Jay Leno, Better Than Ezra, among others. Evans and Michael Buble’ began their careers at the same Vancouver nightclub in the mid 1990’s. Both have been considered the next generation of new crooners by Grammy Magazine.
