Phoenix, Arizona (WiredPRNews.com) Rhonda Peters, a Certified Nutritional Counselor and author of “So, What Can I Eat Now?!” cookbook, has become the newest contributing blogger for Real Health Magazine. The blog will focus on the benefits of a healthy diet as well as Ms. Peters’ personal battle and triumphs in the management of her chronic illnesses. Ms. Peters’ decision to join the Real Health Magazine online team is based on her shared vision of teaching people about the benefits of living and eating healthy, and her desire to demonstrate the fact that healthy cooking can be just as flavorful and tasty as ‘unhealthy’ cooking.
A native of Louisiana, Ms. Peters grew up cooking and enjoying the many spicy, rich dishes for which Louisiana and Southern cooks have become famous. However, it was when she was diagnosed with multiple health issues which include thyroid disease, rheumatoid arthritis, gluten intolerance and multiple food intolerances that she was propelled to alter her lifestyle. In her transition, Ms. Peters discovered that the various medications which were prescribed for her were essentially ineffective at managing her symptoms. The culmination of her quest to gain control of her health occurred when she began to observe how a select number of fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices made her symptoms exceedingly more manageable and less evident. Armed with an arsenal of newly discovered information, Ms. Peters began creating recipes which later evolved into a cookbook.
In blogging for Real Health Magazine, Ms. Peters will bring an honest and methodical approach to the idea of improving your quality of life by cooking and eating healthy. Updates to the blog will be added weekly. To subscribe Ms. Peters’ blog visit http://blogs.realhealthmag.com/rhondapeters.
