Over fifty-three thousand dollars in cash and tutoring prizes have been awarded to high-school students across the U.S through Revolution Prep’s Social Media Contest Winners
Los Angeles, CA (WiredPRNews.com) Revolution Prep, an innovative educational services company, is announcing the winners of its 2011 Next Test Prep Star social media contest. The contest was opened to high-school sophomores and juniors nationwide and ended on June 1st. The purpose of the contest was to help students by supporting them in their goal to attend college and allow other students to experience the test prep process through their peers.
As part of the contest, students were required to tell Revolution Prep why they deserved twenty five hundred dollars in cash for college and/or free SAT test prep. Each participant was required to post a photo and a one to five hundred word essay describing his or her college goals and how a scholarship would help. Each student also had to note why other students would want to follow him or her through personal videos covering the SAT test prep process. Lastly, students were encouraged to share their entries and ask for votes.
Revolution Prep’s social media contest had so many qualified and deserving students the company added additional tutoring and group course prizes at the last minute.
