Your Advanced Blueprint To Increasing Your Search Engine Page Rankings
Olney, MD (WiredPRNews.com) There is a blueprint formula for implementing a successful SEO campaign as well as some advanced strategies that few people know about. They’re all white hat strategies and not the deceptive black hat methods. White hat are search engine optimization techniques that conform to search engine guidelines whereas black hat focuses on techniques that involve deceptive practices and are disapproved by the search engines. Black hat SEO will get your site banned by Google.
So with that said, here is a blueprint I follow for increasing your rankings on the search engines.
Keyword Research and Analysis
Find the appropriate keywords that people search for that particular type of business or service provided. This information is gathered through the client as well as through software programs. Take that list and narrow it down to what I call the “Gold Nugget phrases”. These are key phrases that have good relevancy and low to medium competition.
Optimize your web pages around these keywords which leads us to the next step “on page search engine optimization”.
On page Search Engine Optimization
On page SEO includes proper optimization on your URL, page tile, description tag, keyword tag, page text, headings and subheadings and internal linking. One widely overlooked strategy is using SEO on images and photos. Once you have your on page optimization done, you can now move to “off page optimization”.
Off page Search Engine Optimization
Off page SEO should be started only after your on page SEO is completed properly.
Off page SEO consists of many different strategies which include external linking, blogging, search engine submission, directory submission, social bookmarking, local listings and directories, link exchange, article writing, video marketing and press releases.
Last but not least, you want to be sure you have the proper web analytics in place.
Web Analytics
Web analytics is the measurement of your website statistics. It collects data on your websites traffic.
If you’re looking to improve your websites performance (increase traffic, have visitors stay on longer, increase opt-in rates, increase sales etc) then it would be prudent to measure those statistics.
With analytics, you can measure and track the following information from your website:
• How many visitors are coming to your site monthly daily and weekly.
• How long they’re staying on your site.
• Who’s referring them to you.
• What key phrases are they typing into the search query bar to find you.
• What pages on your site are they visiting and which ones are most popular.
• What page are they exiting from.
Bottom line is that web analytics can help you laser target your SEO campaign.
With the outlined formula above, you should be able to increase your search engine optimization rankings.
There are more advanced SEO strategies that I use to help clients reach higher on the search engines quicker that I’m just not able to discuss here due to the complexity in nature.
