Boston, MA (WiredPRNews.com) United States Senator John Kerry, the Massachusetts politician who once was the presidential candidate, has awarded big band crooner Brian Evans for his writing, performing, and the publicity surrounding his new song “At Fenway,” produced by multiple Grammy Award winning producer Narada Michael Walden (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin).
The singer received the award after the U.S. Senator heard the song.
Evans, a Massachusetts native, will perform in Rockport, Massachusetts on November 18th. He has performed as the opening act for Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, Social Distortion, and a long list of others prior to beginning to record his major label debut under Narada Michael Walden.
“I’m obviously honored to have received recognition for this song. I love the team, I love the park, and I love everyone in the organization that has helped to support the song,” says Evans.
