Prestige Management, Inc. is a Texas based Marketing Firm that works with clients in the home entertainment, consumer electronics and satellite television industries. Paired with the largest retailers in the country, Prestige Management is making moves to meet their client’s demands. Having expanding twice within the last few months, Prestige Management is looking to grow into 10 more markets this year alone. With a philosophy of promoting from within, Prestige Management has a Management Training Program that is second to none.
Prestige Management’s Manager, Daniel Long, understands the importance of promotion from within. A native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Daniel started with the company as an entry level Marketing Representative and was promoted into an upper level management position within 8 months. Daniel grew up playing football as a linebacker and received his Bachelors of Science and Business Administration with a minor in Marketing at East Carolina University. Shortly after graduating Daniel moved to Austin, TX and started with the Austin office in an entry level position, being most interested in the Management Training Program that the company offered. Daniel excelled in the Management Training Program and was promoted into a supervisory position quickly. “My Parents used to tell me ‘Make excellence your trademark,’” said Daniel, “and I have made it a point to use that advice and apply it to everything I do.”
Last year Prestige Management expanded into Chattanooga, Tennessee and Stillwater, Oklahoma. They just opened up an office in Dallas, TX with their newest manager Jenny Whaley. With a background in the Accounting industry, Jenny was let go from the corporate world and wanted an opportunity to better herself based on her work ethic and motivation. After only six months with Prestige Management Jenny is managing their Dallas office. “Jenny brought a go-getter attitude and an incredible work ethic. She is the perfect example of what we look for,” states Daniel.
Daniel believes in helping the team get the same opportunities that he was given when he began with the company and lives by a firm philosophy of growth from within. The Management Training Program that Prestige Management offers introduces employees to different levels of leadership responsibility, human resources training, coaching, team building and client acquisitions. “We provide comprehensive training and an opportunity for people from any background to make a change for themselves. The skills taught allow a person to step into a positive direction for themselves to change their live,” says Daniel, “Our clients need us to grow at the same rate that they do and in order to meet their demand we need well trained managers to help us.” When asked what qualities Prestige Management looks for in a potential manager Daniel said the most important attributes are a positive attitude, good work ethic, self-motivated individual with a student mentality.
It’s not a surprise that Prestige Management is able to exceed their client’s expectations and to develop managers from within. With a Management Training Program geared to develop an entry level representative into a manager in months, the success is evident.
