The Hallmark Institute of Photography (http://hallmark.edu/) announced today that it will host an Open House for prospective students on Saturday, October 4th from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. The event will include a delicious catered lunch, a tour of the campus, and hands-on demonstrations of Hallmark’s photography equipment by instructors.
The Open House gives prospective students the opportunity to see Hallmark’s studios and labs in operation. The different studios will host a fashion show, portrait sessions, and digital processing equipment: “Our lights are set up, and we get the prospective students taking photographs right away,” says Hallmark instructor Rich Barnes. “It gives them a good taste of what professional photography is all about.”
Current Hallmark students will be available to answer any questions about Hallmark’s program. Aniruddh Kothari, a Hallmark graduate who travelled from India to attend the school, said: “I don’t think that any other institute would have helped me develop my unique perspective and my photography skills.” The faculty and staff are available to answer all questions about financial aid, housing, and business opportunities for Hallmark graduates.
Photographers and aspiring-photographers interested in attending the Open House should RSVP online (http://hallmark.edu/openhouse) or call Hallmark at 413-863-2478.
