Radical PI Sport Co is a company that believes in giving back to the community that supports it. From its inception, Radical PI founders have always believed that they held an obligation to make the global community a better place. “Whether through physical works or financial contributions, corporations need to take a greater responsibility in ensuring the well-being of the inhabitants of our planet,” commented Ms. Britney—Radical PI Sport Co’s Brand Manager—when asked about R.P.S.C.’s vision concerning philanthropy.
Ms. Britney went on to say: “While we recognize the need to continually develop new products and paradigms in order to stay relevant, Radical PI also realizes that the World can be an ‘effed’ up place; we want to do what we can to help change that. We believe it’s part of our calling.”
Radical PI Sport Co recently held its first annual coat drive in an attempt to reach out and help the local community. “It’s bothersome to think that there are individuals out here that may not have a warm coat to help them survive this winter. With temperatures in Cleveland dipping below zero, I would not want anyone to be outside without a warm outer-layer; to say the least.” Radical PI Sport, in conjunction with Quest Community Church and several various local organizations, hopes to collect at least one-hundred coats this year to be donated to a local shelter.
In addition to their annual coat drive, Radical PI Sport Co also donates 3 percent of all proceeds to charitable causes. “Whether it’s local or global, we believe that we can make a difference. While we are not a huge, multi-national conglomerate, Radical PI continues to trust that an effort—no matter how great or small—must be made and can have an impact. Maybe it’s just the act creating awareness; if people are unaware of a problem, it probably won’t get solved.” Ms. Britney went on to say: “when it’s all said and done, Radical PI Sport Co wants to know that it exerted a reasonable effort towards making life on this planet somewhat more comfortable for as many people and/or animals as possible. We get it; we can’t fix everything, but we have to start somewhere.”
