Today Southern Surgical Arts, a Chattanooga based cosmetic surgery practice, has announced that during the month of February it will donate $100 to the American Heart Association for every breast procedure performed. This money will directly impact heart disease research, aid in improved diagnosis, and help those affected gain the treatment they need.
In our unhealthy, unaware, uneducated society, millions of Americans fall victim to heart disease each year. Many have no prior medical ailments or symptoms to suggest that heart disease is waiting around the corner. Together with Southern Surgical Arts, your contribution to the American Heart Association can save lives.
Go Red for Women is committed in reducing the number one killer of women… Heart Disease! Over 75% of heart disease in women is preventable. So they’re doing anything they can to distributing life saving information to help fight the fight. Their goal is to raise funds for gender focused medical research, especially since heart disease kills more women than men per year.
National Wear Red Day
