It’s official: the backyard party season has arrived, and I know I’m not “aupa!” The only one who wants to shout. every time I get off the roofs and feel the sun on my skin. We are in that happy beginning of summer when I want to eat every meal away. And this year, as we gathered behind masks and zoom calls after the winter stretched out, it especially feels like a celebration. As we get out and out of our remote social caves reuniting with friends and family, my focus is on bright seasonal recipes and simple ideas for setting the table to elevate the atmosphere. It doesn’t take much: think of a beautiful tablecloth or a bunch of handmade bowls that take center stage on a minimal table.
I’ve been stocking up on some nice things to lift the table setups, for brunch, barbecues and dinners. For me the table is a place for creativity and expressing my personal style through food and aesthetics that create joy for me. And it doesn’t take much to make a table really special.
My formula for the perfect table fit? Simple linen, some candles, handmade dishes and a touch of decor inspired by the natural world.
With these four items equipped with different turns of my supplies, I can change things according to the seasons and the collection, and my table will always feel fresh and inspired. “Farm Table Party” – Inspired Table
Concept: This table is basically a summary of everything I love: linen cloth clothes, handmade clay plates, neutral toned texture details. It’s my inspiration plenty of spring herbs and vegetables, and they play a big role in the decorative touches and my dinner menu.

Keep it simple. Really.
When I’m preparing the dinner table, I usually lay the basics with my favorite ones I already had (this linen tablecloth and a ceramic jug), then I add some new items that I add to my collection each season. Most of the time you can mix and match the great thing that comes with sticking to a palette of neutrals: if you only have 3 or 4 of one type of bowl or bowl, alternate all the others and it will look deliberate. It’s all about embracing imperfections, so don’t think too much, go with the flow.
What’s on my summer menu
A grazing board featuring local cheeses and artisanal jam; salted bread with good salted butter, a large salad filled with plenty of summer herbs and lettuce and a bowl easy pasta with green peas, pesto and burrata.

Here’s that mix and match of neutrals I told you about. I decided to use those inspired by the desert sandstone vessels I’m obsessed, but I didn’t have any other pieces in the collection. So I paired it glazed dinner plates From Anthropologie and I really liked to create a unique combination. These handmade recycled glasses made by artisans in Morocco they are new summer schedules: they are perfect for multi-purpose sizes for white wine or sparkling water, and I like to add a tremendous texture while things are very simple. Table linen
I’m usually overwhelmed with linen — and you’ll never see me ironing a starchy tablecloth, for sure! That said, especially in the warmer months, there is a murmur of linen tablecloths covered on the table. It’s windy and makes me feel like I’m on a long lazy meal in an Italian villa.
Since I didn’t have a tablecloth big enough to represent how to swim on the ground, I used two plain white linens that had been around for years (one of which is an old curtain! In the opposite direction was the drape on all four sides of the table.
Let’s talk these gray linen cloths washed with stone. I love the warmth and the land they have brought to our place. Hand-woven in India, they are Belgian linen fabrics, and you can feel the quality in their soft and noticeable fabrics. Undo.

My original plan was to skip the flowers, and instead transport my market to the farmer to serve as my table decoration. I like to put fresh fruits and vegetables in a wooden bowl or on a woven tray, which is a great effort for the center. But then I saw these tulips at the flower market, and I was invited …
Because the tulips were so exciting, I wanted to leave their beautiful color and pale edges in the spotlight, so I put them in that simple white pitcher (above) and then kept the rest of the table with a simple minimal snack board. a bowl full of cups.
These hand-painted plates They are made in Portugal, with a beautiful glazed pattern, with enough subtlety to mix and match with other pieces. The mix of moles and beiges (which has just the most subtle trace of brilliance) feels really special when I hold my neutral palette across the table.

Important “summer shore atmosphere”, amiright? I went into the news LoveShackFancy store They fell in love with Austin in the third day and immediately fell in love with less than five white dresses. I had to choose one (alas, the oil budget) so I finally landed Lupita Midi in an old white dress with sunlight. It’s a wonderful merit because I’ll be leading all the encounters all season. A must for any outdoor dinner is a sturdy tray for transporting kitchen food and supplies. This chunky seaweed tray matches my beach style. When I don’t use them to make glass containers, it usually lives on my desk full of citrus.
