These finalists held a two-day Final Pitching Session earlier this month, and are now closer to returning home with RM500K grants.

Who were the participants in the run

The companies that joined had to be in operation for less than three years, and they had to consider a creative solution that falls into any category identified by SUPERB as a Key Area of ​​Economic Growth (KEGA).

Categories include the digital economy, space and aerospace, defense and security, agriculture and goods, and more.

These areas represent a future economy that can lead to rapid growth, so the development of a strong local ecosystem would greatly benefit the country by creating more business opportunities and jobs.

Providing future generations with a business environment

“Promoting the identity and integrity of Bumiputera entrepreneurs is important to ensure that the quality of the nation’s startup ecosystem is at an optimal level and able to compete globally,” said Silmi Abd Rahman, CEO of TERAJU.

To reflect that sentiment, participants who qualified before the finals were subjected to a 6-week accelerator, which guided them to the basics of becoming an entrepreneur.

The accelerator program would guide startups through the process of managing a business, as well as take advantage of TERAJU’s extensive network of programs and business ecosystems.

As a result, the number of activists in training has increased.

“The business ideas that came to a great end in SUPERB come from a variety of high-impact strategic industries listed in KEGA.

In addition, each startup will continue to run an intensive traction program for six months. There are courses on marketing, database building, product launching and sales waiting for participants to strengthen business viability and bankability.

Winners will continue to receive support through training, sharing and networking sessions.
