Brazilians protested as 2,500 more die as COVID-19 | Coronavirus pandemic News

Nearly 100,000 Brazilians came with the coronavirus and 2,507 were killed on Wednesday as President Jair Bolsonaro fought the pandemic.

As President Jair Bolsonaro addressed the nation, protesters took to the streets and killed nearly half a million people in the country a few days ago due to the coronavirus pandemic and protests erupted in several Brazilian cities.

The last few days have been amazing for the right-wing leader, whose popularity was already standing out among the daily deaths and cases of COVID-19.

On Wednesday alone, nearly 100,000 Brazilians came with coronavirus and 2,507 were killed, according to government data.

On the same day, the nation’s Supreme Court authorized the Bolsonaro environment minister to conduct a criminal investigation into allegedly probing police into illegal trees.

In a televised speech on Wednesday, Bolsonaro briefly summarized some of his government’s latest achievements and reported that it provided strong economic growth but did not present any new information.

On saturday thousands of people took part in protests in at least 16 cities across the country, organized by left-wing political parties, unions and student associations.

Vaccine shortage

In Sao Paulo, Brazil’s largest city, thousands of people wearing masks blocked one of the city’s largest avenues, while a large balloon depicted Bolsonaro as a vampire.

In some protests, as was the case in Rio de Janeiro, images of former left-wing president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva appeared as Bolsonaro’s main challenge in the 2022 national election, wearing a presidential belt.

Videos circulating on social media on Wednesday night showed lines across the country with a hard-hitting soundtrack and shouted Bolsonaro’s disapproval.

In the short afternoon lecture, Bolsonaro, said he has ridiculed masks and vaccines in the past that all Brazilians who wanted the vaccine could get by the end of the year.
