Fans will be able to purchase tickets to WWE WrestleMania 37 on Friday, the month before the company’s biggest annual show is held in Tampa, Florida, at Raymond James Stadium. WWE will try to sell 25,000 tickets for each night of the two-day event, sources told CBS Sports.

WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place from April 10-11. The maximum capacity of 25,000 is 36% of what Raymond James Stadium can normally hold.

Seats will be sold “in the podium” and there will be social exclusion measures for the event. Temperature checks and wellness projections will also be held at the entrance, and masks will be required for all fans. Free masks will be distributed at the entrance. In addition, sources and concessions will be paperless, sources told CBS Sports.

For the first time since WrestleMania started the COVID-19 pandemic, WWE will be holding an event with fans in attendance.

After initially offering shows at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, WWE launched ThunderDome inside the Amway Center (also in Orlando) and then Tropicana Field (Tampan). ThunderDome has virtual fans on the LED display screens and a return to large-scale entries, and pyrotechnics fans have been familiar with WWE events.

WrestleMania is set to return to the WWE ThunderDome for weekly TV shows and monthly paid events. However, as vaccines are emerging rapidly and infection rates are expected to fall in the coming months, the company may be back on the road with fans sooner rather than later.

The Tampa Bay Times first the attendance at WrestleMania 37 was reported.
