“Having access to a great intelligence of cricketers like Lance Klusener has been an absolute pleasure,” he added. Earlier Monday, former South African player Klusener announced that he did not want to extend his term as team coach.

Tait, who has selected 95 international wickets for Australia, joined Afghanistan as a bowling coach for five months in August this year and helped the team to the Basque Country for the 2021 T20 World Cup.
