Barclays has signed a new three-year deal as part of a record investment in British women’s sports to support the Women’s Super League (WSL) and the Championship, the Football Association of England (FA) said on Wednesday.

The Barclays banking team will invest more than £ 30 million ($ 39.84 million) in women’s and girls ’football from 2022 to 2025, doubling the investment it had when it became the WSL’s main sponsor in 2019.
