The Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) has fired 16 ballistic missiles from the surface at the end of a five-day military exercise to warn Israel’s arch-enemy generals.
The official IRNA news agency reported on Friday that the names of the missiles fired during a military exercise in the south of the country were Emad, Ghadr, Sejjil, Zalzal, Dezful and Zolfaghar and that their range was between 350 km and 2,000 km (220-1,250 miles). ).

“These exercises were designed to respond to the threats made by the Zionist regime in recent days,” Iranian armed forces chief Mohammad Bagheri told state television.

Military exercises called Payambar-e-Azam or “Great Prophet” began on Monday in Bushehr, Hormozg and Khuzestan provinces, each touching the Gulf.
“The military exercise … is a serious warning to Zionist regime officials,” said Hossein Salami, the IRGC’s chief of staff. “Make the slightest mistake, we’ll cut off their hand.”
