The President of Belarus has demanded that European powers work with Minsk, but Berlin has rejected a proposal to take in 2,000 people.

Minsk has rejected a plan to resolve the crisis
Poland and its western allies have accused Minsk of pushing for a migration crisis.

Last week, Lukashenko unveiled a plan to end the crisis, according to which EU member states would take in 2,000 migrants and refugees from Germany to Belarus and another 5,000 to return to their countries.
But this proposal has been completely rejected by Berlin and the EU’s executive arm, the European Commission.
“The idea of having a humanitarian corridor for 2,000 migrants to Germany is not an acceptable solution for Germany or the EU,” a German government spokesman said on Monday.
