Attorneys on both sides are filing initial witness requests as part of a civil lawsuit filed in the United States.

Attorneys for Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre have filed initial witness requests auzia Accusing the King of Britain of sexually abusing him at the age of 17.

Recently released documents show that the prince’s legal team is seeking the accounts of her husband, Robert Giuffre, and her psychologist, Judith Lightfoot, as part of a civil lawsuit filed in the United States.

Meanwhile, Giuffre’s lawyer is looking for accounts of the prince’s former aide and a woman who allegedly saw him at a nightclub in London at the time of the trial.

The lawsuit cleared an obstacle earlier this week after a judge denied Andrew’s request.

Giuffre sued 61-year-old Andrew in August, saying in 2001 that he was forced to have sex with financier Jeffrey Epstein and his longtime friend Ghislaine Maxwell. Giuffre said he was sexually abused by Andrew at Maxwell’s London home, Epstein’s New York mansion, and Epstein’s property in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The prince has worked hard denied Giuffre’s allegations that he told the BBC in 2019 that sex with Giuffre “did not happen” and that he did not “remember” knowing him.

Recently released documents show that Andrew’s lawyers argue that Giuffre may be “exposed to false memories” and that he should be questioned about his “false memory theory” with other topics discussed at Giuffre’s sessions and any prescriptions he wrote.

Andrew’s lawyers met with Robert Giuffre about the circumstances surrounding the 2002 couple and want to ask about their home finances. They want the testimony of both of Australia’s neighbors by April 29 or sooner.

Giuffre’s lawyers, meanwhile, have filed similar claims in Andrew’s favor. They want the testimony of his former aide, Robert Olney, whose name appears in Epstein’s phone book as “Duke of York,” which indicates that he was aware of Andrew’s journey to Epstein’s property.

Her lawyers are also demanding the testimony of Shukri Walker, who is said to have spoken in the news about how Andrew saw a young woman who could have been Giuffre at the Tramp nightclub in London.
