Dyson will open St James Power Station HQ in 2022, now hiring S’po – Wired PR Lifestyle Story

In November last year, the British electronics company Dyson announced this Singapore headquarters (HQ) moving to St James Power Station in 2021.
Earlier, Dyson said the move to move its corporate headquarters to Singapore reflects “Asia’s growing importance” for the business.
St James Power Station is Singapore’s first coal-fired power station. It was later used as a warehouse, and lately it has been a nightlife.
Dyson has worked with developer Mapletree to restore the building, and the first phase of the restoration has been completed.
Thus, Dyson announced today (November 19) that it has begun relocating to its new headquarters, which will officially open next year.
“We are honored to restore this iconic building as our global headquarters. Dyson scientists and engineers will add to its already significant history through the discoveries they make and the technologies they develop,” said Dyson CEO Roland Krueger.
Dyson is actively hiring S’poren
The 110,000-square-foot residence will house three-tier research and technology labs and offices, as well as a heritage gallery inside one of the historic fireplaces to celebrate the history of the building and its surroundings.
It aims to double the talent pool of engineers and scientists, focusing on power electronics, energy storage, sensors, visual systems, embedded software, robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and connected devices.
Earlier in April, Dyson said it would be so hiring at least 250 more engineers and scientists in Singapore over the next five years, as part of a global investment of S $ 5.1 billion in future technology.
At the time, there were about 700 engineers and scientists working for Dyson’s Singapore team of 1,400.
His last check career sheet Dyson has revealed that it is currently hiring 154 jobs in Singapore, ranging from internship positions to more executives.
