U-19 World Cup: Sindhu healed from COVID-19, India’s national team ready for finals against Australia

Indian under-19 cricketer Nishant Sindhu has recovered from COVID-19 and will be eligible for a major semi-final against Australia at the ICC U-19 World Cup on Wednesday.

Development means that all team members are available for the decisive game. Sindhu was the leader in two league games in the absence of Yash Dhull, along with four teammates before the match against Ireland.

Sindhu tested positive after the last league match against Uganda.

“Everyone has a chance to play in the Australian game. Sindhu has been negative,” an ICC source said. PTI.
