The World Tennis Association says the new videos and photos are “not enough” and do not address concerns about its safety.

The editor of a Chinese Communist Party newspaper has released a video, and tennis star Peng Shuai is lost watching a match in Beijing.

Hu Xijin of the Global Times posted the video online on Sunday, raising international pressure to get information about Peng’s whereabouts after he was accused of sexually assaulting a top Chinese leader.

The 37-second video shows Peng standing with five other friends as he said at the opening ceremony of the final match of the Beijing Youth Championship.

The tournament, which opened the China Open, also posted photos of Peng at the event on its official WeChat page.

The world’s first former number one couple has not been seen or heard publicly on Chinese social media since he said on November 2 that former vice president Zhang Gaoli forced a sexual relationship, and then they had a consensual relationship.

Neither Zhang nor the Chinese government has given an opinion on his allegation. Peng’s post on social media was quickly wiped out and the subject was prevented from being discussed on the highly censored Internet in China.

World tennis organizations have expressed concern that the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) will take the championships out of China. The United States and the United Kingdom have called for Peng’s whereabouts and security evidence.

Peng’s photos and videos, which appeared on Sunday, are “insufficient” and do not address WTA concerns, a group spokesman told Reuters via email.

Steve Simon, the WTA president and CEO, appeared concerned about Peng’s safety after posting videos showing Huk in a restaurant.

“While it’s positive to see him, it’s not clear that he’s free and able to make decisions and take action on his own, without being forced or outside. This video alone isn’t enough,” Simon said. Our relationship with China is at a crossroads. ”

The International Olympic Committee has kept quiet about the situation of Peng, who participated in three Olympic Games, and helped contribute to the IOC’s multi-million dollar revenue from broadcasts and sponsors.
