2021 Wimbledon trials, women’s quarterfinal predictions: tennis expert reveals Sabalenka and Jabeur’s chances

Belarus ’Aryna Sabalenka and Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur are expected to reach their first major career slam semi-final in the 2021 Wimbledon quarterfinals on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. on ET. Sabalenka reached the first quarterfinal of the Grand Slam when she defeated Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, while Jabeur beat the Polish Iga Swiat 5-7, 6-1, 6-1. This is the furthest Jabeur has advanced in a Grand Slam test since reaching the 2020 Australian Open quarter-finals. Sabalenka holds 10 individual career titles and is ranked 4th in the world since June 28th. Jabeur has won an individual WTA championship, as well as 11 ITF titles. He is in 24th place.

Mair has seen how the two players are growing in recent months as they both get victory in non-Grand Slam events. Sabalenka won in Abu Dhabi in January and again in Madrid in May. He also reached the finals in Stuttgart in April, losing to Ashleigh Barty in the tournament, the best player in the world today.
