The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said in a statement: “Both were positive in the PCR test among the team and the support staff before the team, which is currently on a Bio-Secure Bubble, went to Australia.

“Both are undergoing COVID-19 protocols and will rejoin the group on February 10 when the protocols are completed.”

The Sri Lankan team will leave for Australia on February 3rd.

After that, the Islanders will be in India for a two-match test that will begin on February 25 and a three-match T20I series with a five-day match.
