It’s time for WWE’s latest PPV bid, as the organization puts its eye on Ohio for the Extreme Rules. The event is the first of a blockbuster SummerSlam and is likely to host some fun matches at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia in October. Roman Reigns is the title of WWE Universal Champion when this show takes place against Finn Balor “The Devil”.

Also, Bianca Belair will have a chance to correct the mistake of losing the 26-second SmackDown Women’s Championship against SummerSlam’s Becky Lynch in another rematch of the night in two rematch.

Let’s see how Extreme Rules will play this Sunday at 8pm ET (7pm opening show) from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

2021 WWE Extreme Rules predictions

Universal Tournament – Roman Reigns (c) and “Devil” Finn Balor (Extreme Rules Match)

The return of Balor’s “Demon” character was a nice moment, but if there was any doubt as to who would leave as Extreme Rules champion, WWE removed him in October when Reigns announced that Brock Lesnar would be up against Crown Jewel. This match does not take place without a title. Balor will have to keep living from being the first universal champion for a long time, as he still won’t get a second place with the title. SmackDown Women’s Championship – Becky Lynch (c) vs Bianca Belair

Very few people were happy with how the SummerSlam match between these two women played out. Belair deserved more than he achieved after his title reign and losing in less than 30 seconds against Lynch was offensive. WWE can’t do that right with what happens in Extreme Rules. It seems very unlikely that Lynch will lose the title after returning and returning the heel. Unfortunately for Belair, that means eating another loss of pay. Raw Women’s Championship – Charlotte Flair (c) vs Alexa Bliss

Love or hate the Alexa Bliss trick, WWE is clearly very committed to it as a big attraction. They’ve finally hit it off to get into a Bliss title game and it looks like it’s time for WWE to move forward and put on its belt, now is the time. There’s still a good chance for Flair to hold on to the title, but winning Bliss changes the title of the show and allows WWE to allow the Bliss character to work on holding the title and holding a doll. Choose: Alexa Bliss wins the title

United States Championship – Damian Priest (c) Sheamus vs. Jeff Hardy

Getting into Hardy’s game doesn’t make sense, but here we are. He’s getting a rematch with Sheamus Priest, and that’s okay as he progresses in games against other great men. However, Priest needs a lot more time to win the tournament than Sheamus or Hardy. Sometimes it’s really that simple. Selection: Damian Priest retains the title

SmackDown Tag Team Championship – The Usos (c) vs. The Street Profits

Somehow, the fates of The Usos are too tied to Reigns to rule out what it would mean to win or lose a universal champion for predictions. The loss of pigeons could be the start of a situation where Reigns feels his power is slipping away. Winning Usos and keeping The Bloodline strong seems more significant with the Survivor Series in a few months. Selection: Pigeons hold titles

Liv Morgan vs Carmella

Games are no more random than this. Morgan had some issues with Carmella when he tried to fight Money in the Bank a month ago, but it wasn’t a competition worth reviewing. In fact, the three games in June lasted less than nine minutes combined. Carmella doesn’t need to win here as much as Morgan does if they move to become Morgan players. Choose: Liv Morgan wins
