Charity School Supply Drive Paves Path for Underprivileged Children’s Education
Los Angeles, CA – August 10, 2023 – Education is a fundamental right that should be accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic background. However, for many underprivileged children, the dream of attending school and receiving a quality education remains out of reach due to financial constraints. Recognizing this pressing issue, Citywide Law Group and other businesses organized a “Back to School Bash” on August 5, 2023, in Bakersfield, California. The event aimed to bridge the educational gap across the socioeconomic spectrum and empower young minds with the tools they need to succeed.

Limited financial resources can result in a lack of proper school supplies, which disadvantages a child’s ability to engage in the learning process fully. Without adequate materials, such as notebooks, pens, textbooks, and backpacks, these children face hardships that hinder their academic progress and self-esteem.

The event was held at 3550 Q Street, Bakersfield, California, on August 5, 2023, between 9 am to 1 pm. The event featured fun games, activities, raffles and school supply distribution. These activities addressed the financial barriers that often prevent children from attending school and sought to provide a safe space for families to have an exciting event before the start of the new school year.
