2022 Australian Open: Nick Kyrgios takes a beer drink after a first-round victory

Mention of tennis star Nick Kyrgios in the first round of the Australian Open is not just a court game. After beating Liam Broadyri in straight sets, Kyrgois decided to celebrate properly.

Kyrgois went to the stands and a fan put a beer next to him as a way to offer it to the star. That’s an offer most athletes would turn down, but the 26-year-old decided to take his gift to the fans after the first-round victory.

Kyrgois appeared to be debating whether to take a drink, but the fans encouraged him enough action to convince the tennis player.

He was loved by the crowd and Kyrgois wanted to keep drinking.

He shouted, “I’m back,” and he even turned the crowd on his feet.

Kyrgois is on his way to victory and his next opponent will be Daniil Medvedev.

Australian Open is the first Grand Slam of the year. It started on January 9, but due to the country’s vaccination protocols, the world’s number one men’s tennis standings. Novak Djokovic cannot attend.
