Boxing Schedule for 2021: Canelo Alvarez vs. Billy Joe Saunders, Andy Ruiz vs. Chris Arreola tap

After many major fights were canceled or postponed after the riots in 2020, boxing is ready for 2021. With many champions and pound elites hanging by the side, amid the coronavirus pandemic, boxing lost big fights. However, as the year went on, the fighters slowly began to enter the ring, even though we would rather not see it against the competition.

But with men like Anthony Joshua, Terence Crawford, Errol Spence, Canelo Alvarez and GGG getting some free fights, things are clear by 2021. And things started with a strong start from Ryan Garcia’s start. to stop knockout Luke Campbell and claim the provisional lightweight WBC title. Garcia, along with Gervonta “Tank” Davis, Teofimo Lopez and Devin Haney are setting the odds of some unbeaten matches in the next 135 months in the 135-pound division.

Upon entering May, Canelo Alvarez, who has just pulled off a couple of victories in December and February, is back again, looking to remain active as he takes on Billy Joe Saunders in a midweek reunion at Dallas ’AT&T Stadium. Alvarez said he hopes to fight twice more this year if he succeeds against Saunders.

Then the summer really heats up with Showtime and Premier Boxing Champions. Gervonta “Tank” Davis rises two sections to face Mario Barrios to gain weight in the WBA junior welterweight and fight for both the Jermall and Jermell Charlo titles.
